Here at WOL, our counselors come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of experiences. Approaches and modalities offered by WOL counselors include, but are not limited to, the following: play therapy, art therapy, sandtray therapy, other expressive therapies, Child Parent Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, Gestalt Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Family/Systems Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness interventions, and Christian counseling/integration. WOL counselors see clients suffering from a wide range of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, Bipolar D/O, PTSD/trauma/abuse, OCD, ADHD, behavioral/school concerns, autism, parenting, divorce adjustment and recovery, grief/loss, adjustment concerns or life transitions, relationship or marriage concerns, self-esteem/self-confidence concerns, work/career issues, alcohol and/or substance abuse, and other addictions issues. WOL counselors also work with diverse populations including military families, LGBTQ+ individuals, diverse religious groups, and all racial and ethnic groups.
